Dongchuan District No.2 Elementary School Students Visit Huiyun Noodle Factory

On April 29, 2024, the students of Dongchuan District No.2 Primary School had a special exercise. They visited Huiyun Noodle Factory to understand the production process and automation of Dongchuan Noodle production. During the visit, they have a better understanding of how labor can create a better life.

It was a sunny day, and the children in an excited mood, led by their teachers, came to the Huiyun Noodle Processing Factory. The Huiyun production line is currently the most automated and advanced in Dongchuan District, which is famous for its high efficiency, high quality, safe, and hygienic production process.

As soon as the students entered the factory, they were fascinated by the spacious and bright factory buildings and neatly organized production lines. They listened attentively to the introduction by the instructor and carefully observed each production process: sifting, mixing, pressing, cutting, drying, and packaging. All the processes are executed with fully automated professional machinery, which is precise and efficient.

In the mixing section, the children saw the precise proportion of wheat flour, water, and edible alkali, the process of the mixing machine stirring the ingredients into smooth dough. In the dough pressing session, they saw the magical transformation of the dough being pressed into thin sheets. In the cutting section, the children were amazed at how neatly and quickly the machine cut the noodles.

The children also learned about the drying process of the noodles using a unique and advanced drying workshop. Traditional drying methods can have problems like noodle breakage which cause unnecessary waste. It is also more likely to be exposed to environmental contamination that can cause health issues. During the visit, the children learned knowledge of noodle production but also embraced the value and charm of labor that can create a better life.

After the comprehensive visit, students realized that behind every noodle is the crystallization of the worker's careful monitoring and engineering genius, which are equally important work. The visit allowed the students to gain profound insights into perspectives of life and society that are not in the textbooks. It is also an opportunity for them to show their gratitude to the workers who maintain their daily lives.
